Find out more about Marchwood Modellers...
Marchwood Modellers are a loose association of model railway enthusiasts, some of whom either worked or lived in Marchwood village which is located in an area known as The Waterside, between the New Forest and Southampton Water in southern Hampshire.
Currently, we are concentrating our modelling efforts on maintaining our existing layouts, many of which were pre-loved and looking for new homes which we were able to provide. Later on we may get around to building some new ones. When time allows, we are decluttering our main workspace and improving its facilities to make our modelling lives easier.
We are also members of the Wessex Association, the Gauge O Guild, the 009 Society and several other railway related organisations.
Pre-Covid, several of us ran the Minstead model railway exhibition in the New Forest. In March 2025 we made a start on selecting a suitable venue for our first Marchwood Modellers exhibition, details of which may be found here..
We have a selection of model railway layouts that are available for exhibition, some may be old favourites whilst others could be new to you.
We look forward to seeing you at future exhibitions.
