Croscombe
Croscombe is set at the end of an imaginary Great Western Railway branch line. Had it been built, it would have come off the Cheddar Valley line half way between Shepton Mallet and Wells in Somerset. It depicts a typical post-war GWR branch line terminus station with a small goods yard and creamery. The trains are mainly short passenger with the occasional goods.
An optional extension to the layout is being built ready for sometime in 2026. When completed, the layout will be available in its original form and, where space permits, in its enhanced longer form. At the same time the fiddle yard is being extended, backscene improved along with a host of other minor upgrades.
